Zimmer® Fitmore® Hip Stem

The Zimmer Fitmore Stem is a bone-preserving system of implants that is specifically designed for use with less invasive surgical procedures. The system aims to provide stable reconstruction of each individual's anatomy through its innovative concept of matching stem offset with different medical curvatures. The triple taper design and proximal Ti-Plasma coating enables secure press-fit, while the trapezoidal cross-section provides for rotational stability.

The purpose of this training course is to educate surgeons in the safe and effective use of the Zimmer Fitmore Hip Stem. During the course we will discuss the product and surgical technique, criteria for proper patient selection, peri-operative protocols, and review the system instrumentation.

By participating in this one-day course you will experience:

  • Surgeon Facilitator led interactive lecture
  • Surgeon Facilitator led hands-on bioskills demonstration
  • Participant performs the procedure
  • Participant assists on the procedure
  • Course review, evaluation, and discussion
