PEEK Materials: Visibly invisible
The Cadence implant
is made of a medical grade PEEK Optima material that mimics the
modulus of elasticity of natural bone while remaining radiolucent to improve
imaging. Tantalum markers are visible on films to help confirm positioning.
Low Profile Instrumentation: Unobtrusive implantation
The Cadence
implant is inserted using a low profile device that interfaces with implant
side channels to reduce the insertion width to just that of the implant
alone. Cadence also features a uniquely bulleted nose to ease
insertion. In combination, these characteristics reduce the overall
insertion profile for maximum control near neural structures.
