MIS™ Technique
MIS guides allow for percutaneous targeting of screws, resulting in smaller incisions. In addition, spacers are available which can be used intraoperatively to hold the plate off the bone. Once the screws are locked and the spacers removed, the construct acts like an internal fixator – reducing the risk of damage to the periosteum and blood supply to the bone.
